Also I think you were musing the idea of not being able to dodge through enemies? That wouldn't be the worst idea since you can still jump around most stuff if you need too but would force you to engage in a few spots. Could you make the arousal gas status apply faster or in a much larger amount? It's currently completely harmless unless you actively try and get the status effect.
